I met Jonny & Amelia at their venue back in the summer for their engagement shoot. It was hazy and warm, and we shot most of their photos in the meadows rather than the venue itself, so it made for a brilliant contrast when we shot their wedding day on a very very cold Saturday in December! The frosty morning made for beautiful photos.
Amelia stayed at Lainston House the previous night, so I met her up in her suite, which was extremely grand and luxurious! Her hair and make-up looked stunning, as did her three-quarter length sleeved lace gown. The bridesmaids were in a royal blue, which was perfectly complemented by the colours in the girls' bouquets.
The ceremony was performed in the Kings Sombourne Church in Winchester, after which we headed directly onto Lainston House, where we were greeted by a cozy open fire. As bad as I felt having to take the couple away into the sub-zero temperature for some photos together, it was well worth it! (Big thanks to Jonny & Amelia for braving it!)
The wedding breakfast was served in a beautifully decked-out barn room, complete with twinkling lights, crackers and a Christmas tree.
